Some users have reported problems with downloading the full app after they have purchased it. We have reported this issue to Apple.
Until a solution is found to the Apple download problems, we are offering affected users the option to download the full app from our Amazon server, rather than from Apple. It is the same app and your user experience will not be affected after the initial download.
Please follow these steps to download your app:
- Firstly, ensure that you have installed the most recent app update (version 8.7.465).
- Try to download the app in the usual way, and if the download fails, a pop-up message will appear.
- Click on Open Download Settings in the pop-up message, or go to Download Settings from Preferences in the top toolbar of your OALD app.
- In Download Settings, check the box to download “from our other server” and try to download the dictionary again. This will download the app from Amazon instead of Apple.
