It is possible to keep your Favourites list when you upgrade from OALD8 to OALD9. When downloading OALD9 within the new OALD container app, you will see a pop-up asking whether you would like to transfer your Favourites. If you say yes, then when you open the Favourites tab in OALD9, you will see a folder called 'OALD8'.
