Unfortunately Apple does not allow Family Sharing with in-app purchases (you can read about this restriction here: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT203046). As OALD8 and OALD9 are now only available via in-app purchase (rather than as standalone apps), this means they will not work with Family Sharing.
We are very sorry about this but the restriction on Family Sharing with in-app purchases is set by Apple and is outside of our control. Currently the only way to continue using your family member's copy of the OALD app, or to share your copy with a family member, would be to sign in with their Apple ID on your device, or to allow them to sign in with your Apple ID on their device, in order to download the dictionary/dictionaries.
